You stand before me, doubts laid bare,
a guarded heart, yet choosing to dare.
Despite the past that left its mark,
you’ve found the courage to spark the dark.
I feel your fear, the quiet weight,
of loving still, though once betrayed.
Yet here you are, with walls undone,
believing now that I’m the one.
Each word you speak, each glance you send,
carries the warmth that fears transcend.
You’re stepping close, though cautious still,
a leap of faith, a test of will.
I see the scars you try to hide,
the battles fought, the tears you’ve cried.
But in your eyes, a gentle glow—
a trust in me, a love to grow.
Together now, beneath these skies,
we’ll chase the stars where hope still lies.
Through storms that pass and nights so vast,
we’ll find a love that’s meant to last.
I’ll be your calm when fears arise,
a steady hand beneath the skies.
Through every doubt, through every strain,
I’ll prove to you my love will heal your pain.
I’ll match your pace, not rush or race,
let time weave bonds in this sacred space.
For every step, I’ll hold your hand,
until you’re sure where we will stand.
If love’s a risk, then let it be
a journey shared by you and me.
And when you’re ready, hearts aligned,
we’ll write our stars, our fates intertwined.
